Club Membership Application

Membership to the El Dorado RC Flyers club is open to all with a current AMA membership. Our club is open to all forms of RC activities and with over 150 members the club represents a broad range of age group as well as experience in all sorts of RC activities. We do have an extensive training program available for those who are interested in learning flying RC models. The club has monthly member meetings and a variety of other activities such as float flies at Folsom lake, war bird and family days throughout the year. We also have regular indoor flying events for small micro category RC models.

Before joining or renewing your membership at the El Dorado RC Flyer club make sure that you have applied for your AMA membership at https://www.modelaircraft.org/joinrenew.aspx for the current year and that you have your membership number already made available to you. The signup process is self-explanatory and when completed a confirmation e-mail with payment instructions will be provided. Your membership will be active after the payment has been processed by the club treasurer.

New members who have already RC experience need to be checked out by one of the club flight instructors prior to using the field. Beginners are recommended to contact one of the club instructors prior to purchasing their RC equipment in order to get proper recommendations and to avoid disappointments since not all RC models are suitable for beginners.
