Club meeting minutes for March 2025

There were 17 members at the meeting

Membership

Current membership is 101 with a further 31 pending

Reminder that you need both a AMA membership and a club membership to fly at the field

Finances

Expenses were $438

Balance is $9231

Training has slowed some due to the weather. Still going strong. 

General 

Now is a good time to make sure your contact info is up to date.

Remember to use the yellow outlined areas when you are piloting an aircraft. No more than 4 fliers at a time. (glider pilots are excepted since they should be out of the normal flying space)

Field improvements

The plan to extend the shade area to the north is approved and in process. It will be the same as the existing shade. More later.

Up coming events:

Warbirds Birds Day will be held on May 3, the first Saturday of the month. We will need some volunteers to help run the event and man the BBQ.

Other events:

Swap meet at Woodland Davis field on March 15^th

California Capitol Airshow at Mather field will take place on March 22^nd and 23^rd.
