Club meeting minutes for June 2025

Steve was under the weather and Bob hosted the meeting

Training

Training is progressing well with the need for one additional trainer.

General 

Warbirds day was a big success with lots of interesting planes.

Thanks to Mike for the airsoft guns and the members who brought planes to be shot at.

Combat was enjoyed by all. There were 9 flyers up in the first group. As usual there were a few mid-airs but all had fun.

Jim Thomas gave a brief overview of the new glider launchers being used by some members. There is a high start setup and also a winch launch system. 

Be sure and get checked out on these before you use them. Jim, Garret and Bill are the ones to give you some help.

Following the meeting was a spirited glider contest enjoyed by both the participants and spectators. Thanks Jim for running the event.
