Club meeting minutes for August 2025

There were 20members at the meeting

Membership

Current membership is 120

two new members

Finances

expenses since last report $1200

Includes payment to the land owner

Bank account is approximately $8000

Training

Training is progressing well with two new members.

We are looking for a volunteer to add one more trainer

General 

Steve has been in contact with the owners and they are very much opposed to moving the fences. They have their reasons and it looks like this project cannot go forward. Thanks to Steve for his work to try and get this approved.

The extension of the shade structure is still planned but will probably happen later in the fall.

Chris donated a fire blanket which was put along with the fire water container near the gate on the far side of the runway. Thanks Chris

There is a swap meet scheduled at Ione in two weeks.
