Club meeting minutes for May 2026

Current membership is 127

Finances

About $13000 in the bank

There is a back log in training.

Jay has volunteered to do training.

General 

Remember to park between the markers so that more people can access the pit line.

It’s spring so please be on the alert for snakes. There have been a few spotted already. Watch yourself around the field and especially out past the fence line. Leave the alone and they will not be a bother.

The board members are working on an outline of duties for each position. This will make it easier to transition after the coming elections next February.

EVENTS

After next months meeting there will be a sailplane event. Jim will have different tests set up and possibly some prizes.

Please let the club know if you are planning to participate. We need at least 8 to 10 flyers to hold the event. 

Looking forward to later this year the board would like others to step up and put their names in for the elections this fall. The current board has served for the last 3 years and at the end of this year would like to step down.
