Club meeting minutes for September 2026

Mannie was not present so no accounting this month
General
Once again a reminder that the last person at the field must turn off the solar and lock the gate. There have been a couple of incidents where this has not been done.
The solar power has been repaired and should not drop out anymore. The problem was the inverter and a new one was installed by Bill.
Bill also added a solar powered fan and vent on the container so that the inverter will be able to run cooler. A big thanks to Bill
We are still looking for candidates for board positions for next year. Please consider making yourself available for the upcoming elections later this year.
Forrest says the extension to the overhead cover should happen before it starts raining.
There is a new water bucket for fires located in the ground out near the far side fence gate.
Bill will take the mowers in to get serviced. They are due.
EVENTS
There are ongoing float fly days on Tuesdays out at Browns Ravine.
We will be having a Swap Meet on October 17, mark your calendars.
Possible combat event after the next club meeting.
Night fly Saturday, the 24th of October.
Update on Dennis:
He is doing well and seems to be recovering from his surgery. He is still in rehab until early next week and will finally get back home then.
Dennis is in very good spirits and says that the surgery was very successful and his back pain is all but eliminated.
